Syncing Torus Scored Assignments to the LMS Gradebook

This article is for Torus instructors teaching LMS-integrated sections who want to see all scored assignments in the LMS gradebook at once, rather than waiting for student submissions.

Syncing Torus Scored Assignments to the LMS Gradebook

Student scores automatically sync to the LMS gradebook as they are submitted in Torus. By default, scored assignments only appear in the LMS gradebook once students begin submitting them.

For convenience, send all scored assignments to the LMS gradebook at once. This allows you to view and edit them ahead of time. You only need to do this once per section unless additional scored assignments are later added via Customize Content.

Tip: To adjust point values or unpublish assignments, make edits directly in the LMS gradebook.

Steps

1. From the Manage page, under Scoring, select Manage LMS Gradebook.

2. In Manage Grades, click Update LMS Line Items.

All Torus scored assignments will now appear in the LMS gradebook, where you can view and customize them.
