How to Rename Containers in OLI Torus

In this article, you will learn
  1. How to rename containers.
Note: This article is about renaming container titles within the Curriculum view. For changing the project labels of containers, see Customize Project Labels for a Torus Project.

Renaming Containers

Units, Modules, and Sections can all be given unique titles. This helps to give context to the learning content housed within these containers. The renaming process is the same for every style of container.
  1. Navigate to the downward arrow at the end of any container.
  2. Click on the downward arrow and select "Options".
  3. A pop-up menu should appear with a text field. A new container will simply contain the container title. An already-renamed container will contain the current name.
  4. Once you have entered your desired container title, select "Save". Your container should now have a new title.
Each container or unit will have a downward arrow on the far right of their bar.



Note: The container project label will remain as a part of the container label. The renamed container will have a different title, but not a different project label.
"Section 1" relates to the Project Label while "Section Example" is the Container Title.
