Sign in to your OLI Torus Course Materials
Students access their course in one of two ways:
- Through single sign-on from your school system, such as Canvas, with no separate account id and password
OR - By signing in directly to OLI Torus at proton.oli.cmu.edu with an account id and password
Each course is set up for one access method. Students should use the method provided by their instructor and should not use both.
If you are not sure how to access your course materials, contact your instructor or oli-help@cmu.edu.
Single sign-on through your school system
Your course may open through a single sign-on, or SSO, link in your school’s system, such as Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace, or Moodle.
An SSO link takes you directly to your OLI Torus course without asking you to sign in separately. If your instructor provides an SSO link, use that link to access the course.
You must be signed in to your school’s system before following the link to OLI Torus.
Sign In at proton.oli.cmu.edu
Only if you enrolled through an enrollment URL or invitation link and confirmed your email address to create an account, return to your course by signing in at at https://proton.oli.cmu.edu/ with your existing learner account (email address).
