Steps to Add an Exception

  1. On your Manage page, open Schedule and Assessment Settings.

  2. From the Assessment Settings tab, scroll to the Exceptions column.
Note: If the horizontal scroll bar is not visible, scroll to the bottom of the list of assessments, then scroll to the right, or use browser controls (CTRL and -) to zoom out until the Exceptions column is visible. You may also try using your keyboard arrow keys to scroll to the right.

  3. Select the number shown for the assessment. Initially this is a 0 then the number increases as exceptions are added. This opens the exception list.

  4. Choose Add Exception and select the student from the list.

The exception inherits all settings from the assessment by default even if they appear blank. Update only what you need, such as the number of attempts.
